This meeting will celebrate 50 years of activities by the IBDG. It will be co-hosted by the Centre for Molecular and Structural Biochemistry (CMSB), and will take place at the University of East Anglia on 3rd/4th September 2026. It will provide a forum for showcasing both contemporary research and future directions in our field. The meeting will be supported by ELEMENTAL, a BBSRC-funded Engineering Biology Hub focused on bio-based strategies for recovering technology-important metals.
